making your money work for you, instead of you working for it.

“I’m leaving on a Jet plane …… don’t know when I’ll be back again”

On May 31 2013, I left the San Francisco Bay Area, my home for over 20 years. I relocated to Detroit, Michigan. It was bittersweet. On one hand, it was nice to be back in my hometown and reconnect with family and friends. Then again, I missed the life I had made for myself in California.

Today is January 21, 2019, it also happens to be my birthday. And I’m back in the Bay Area. I’ve been here since January 15th. A friend asked me how does it feel to be back? I answered, “I feel like someone plugged me into an power supply.” I felt an immediate boast of energy.

The Bay has changed alot in 5 years. We all know about the housing costs and cost of living in general. But I wasn’t prepared for how bad the homeless situation is, or how bad the traffic has gotten. Nonetheless, the Bay still remains one of the most beautiful places to live. And the opportunities to create and innovate are endless.

I’m looking forward to whats next for me.
